How KidGo Nearby processes location searches, browser preferences, analytics choices and advertising consent.
What this service does
KidGo Nearby helps parents and caregivers discover family activities. It is intended for adults planning outings, not as a service directed to children. We do not offer user accounts and do not knowingly ask children for personal information.
The site publishes free family activity guides, city planning pages and a nearby place finder. Our editorial goal is to reduce planning friction by showing practical options, evidence labels and source notes before a parent checks the venue directly.
Location and search data
If you type a city, the city and selected filters are sent to our same-origin search endpoint. If you choose current location, approximate latitude and longitude are used to find nearby places. We do not intentionally save a location history or sell precise location data.
OpenStreetMap, Nominatim, Overpass, Wikipedia and Wikivoyage may process search requests under their own policies. Links to Google Maps or venue websites take you to third-party services.
Browser storage and consent
Necessary localStorage keeps your consent preferences. Optional analytics and advertising technologies are disabled until you make an affirmative choice. You can reopen Cookie settings from the footer and change future processing.
Analytics and advertising
When configured and permitted, Google Analytics may collect aggregated usage and device information. Google AdSense may process advertising identifiers and serve ads. These services are controlled by environment settings and your consent choice. Advertising does not change recommendation ranking, editorial confidence labels, or which venues appear in a city guide.
Affiliate links, when present, are labelled as sponsored or commercial links. KidGo does not sell tickets, set prices, control availability, or copy live review counts from booking platforms.

You may reject optional storage or ask a privacy question at hello@kidgonearby.com. Depending on your location, you may have access, correction, deletion, restriction or objection rights. We will update this notice when providers, purposes, advertising partners, consent controls or contact processes change.
